Hit It a Bomb scores second maiden winner of the week
November 6, 2020
La Reine’s Legacy went gate to wire to score a two-length maiden win Nov. 5 at Golden Gate Fields, the second maiden winner in six days for Hit It a Bomb.
The Spendthrift stallion also accounted for his fifth stakes placing when Tic Tic Tic Boom ran third in the $100,000 Chelsey Flower S. at Belmont Park.
La Reine’s Legacy was a comfortable winner, opening up by as many as six lengths before winning with relative ease in the six-furlong contest.
The 2-year-old filly was bred by Spruce Lane, Copper Beech, Tim Perotti, Rick Carroll and Dallas & Michelle Becker; the latter couple are also her owners.
Hit It a Bomb, who won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) five years ago at Keeneland, is standing the 2021 season for $5,000 S&N.
