Cinco Charlie’s winner’s list continues to grow

Cinco Charlie is up to eight winners after Paquime took a six-furlong maiden special for 2-year-olds at Belterra Park on Thursday.

The Spendthrift stallion is third on the First-Crop sire list by winners and is the only sire in the top 10 who stands for less than $10,000.

Paquime, who took over the lead just before entering the stretch, got a stiff challenge for Love My Jimmy, but dug in to win by 1 ½-lengths on a fast track.

The winner races for his breeder Terrazas Thoroughbreds LLC.
