Palace filly up in time for MdSpWt win

Palace’s stakes-placed filly Tensas Weezy rallied in deep stretch to score a one-length maiden special weight win Friday evening at Evangeline Downs (VIDEO).

Already placed in the D. S. Shine Young Futurity last month, Tensas Weezy rallied late in the six-furlong contest to become her sire’s fourth winner from his first crop.

Tensas Weezy is owned by Bobby Dupre and was bred by Curt Leake and is a half-sister to stakes-placed Tensas Thought. Their dam Tensas Idea is a full sister to four-time stakes winner Tensas Yucatan.
