$750,000 filly tops first day of F-T Saratoga for Into Mischief
August 6, 2019
Into Mischief’s stellar 2019 sales results continued Monday evening during the opening session of the Aug. 5-6 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearlings sale, with four lots selling for an average of $487,500.
Leading the way was hip No. 89, consigned by Lane’s End, agent and purchased for $750,000 by Donato Lanni, agent for the Baoma Corporation. The filly is out of the stakes-winning Unbridled mare Private Gift, herself the dam of stakes winner Secret Someone. Private Gift is a half-sister to Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Secret Status and the multiple graded stakes winner Alumni Hall.
Two hips later Denali Stud’s hip No. 91 was procured by Mike Ryan, agent, for $600,000. The bay colt is out of the Fair Grounds Oaks (G2) winner Quiet Temper and is from the same family as Grade 1 winners Dancing Spree, Furlough, and Fantastic Find.
Into Mischief has seven more top-class yearlings in Tuesday evening’s session.
