$280,000 colt tops Into Mischief offerings at F-T Florida Sale
March 2, 2016
Wednesday’s Fasig-Tipton Florida Sale showcased a pair of 2-year-olds by Into Mischief, led by a $280,000 colt purchased by top owner West Point Thoroughbreds.
The colt, hip No. 75 consigned by SGV Thoroughbreds, agent, is a sibling to three winners and comes from the same family as champion Capote, the immortal Exceller, and Grade 1 winner Bob and John.
Hip No. 43 brought plenty of attention as well, with the Niall Brennan Stables consignee eventually going to popular auction participant Klaravich Stables. The filly is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Go West Marie.
Into Mischief, one of North America’s leading sires by APEX A-Index, was bred to 210 mares last year, third-most on the continent. He is standing this year at Spendthrift Farm for $45,000 live foal.
