Into Mischief colt serious business at Saratoga
August 6, 2016
Practical Joke’s debut Saturday put smiles on his connections’ faces as the 2-year-old Into Mischief colt rolled to a five-length victory in a six-furlong maiden special weight affair on the Saratoga main track.
After a solid start, Practical Joke made his way up into fourth after a half-mile, then really kicked into gear in mid-stretch, rolling past Northern and drawing off for a dominating win in 1:10.02 on the fast main track (VIDEO).
A $240,000 Keeneland September Yearling sale buy in 2015, Practical Joke is owned by Klaravich Stables and William H. Lawrence. His dam is the stakes-placed Halo Humor, who is a sister to Louisiana Futurity winner Cubera.
Into Mischief’s stakes horses this year include multiple stakes winner Conquest Enforcer and graded-stakes placed millionaire Vyjack.
