Into Mischief filly fires bullet at F-T Under Tack Show
May 16, 2017
A gray filly by leading sire Into Mischief worked a quarter-mile in :21 2/5 seconds on May 16 during the first day of the Under Tack Show for the May 22-23 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two Year Olds in Training Sale.
The work tied the fastest time at the distance for consignor Wes Carter, who is selling the filly on behalf of her breeder Carolyn Vogel (VIDEO).
Cataloged as hip No. 34, the Kentucky-bred is the second foal out of the Tapit mare Pooh Corner.
Into Mischief, the leading sire of 3-year-old winners worldwide, has had four 2-year-old bring at least $500,000 at auction this year, with an average $217,203, nearly 11 times his bred-on stud fee.
