Into Mischief has top colt and filly at F-T October sale
October 26, 2017
Leading Spendthrift Farm stallion Into Mischief had both the highest priced filly and co-highest colt during the fourth and final session of the Oct. 23-26 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearlings sale.
Tied for the top price of the Thursday’s session was hip No. 1178, a colt consigned by Dromoland Farm Inc. and purchased by Mike Ryan, agent, for $400,000.
The colt is out of the Dixie Union mare I’m Cruising Dixie, who is a half-sister to stakes winners Patsyprospect and Terreavigne.
The top filly of the session was Into Mischief’s hip No. 1299, consigned by Four Star Sales, agent and purchased by Tracy Farmer for $260,000. The filly is a half-sister to black type winners Gentleman Chester and Back Forty, while his dam Limbo is out of Northernette, a full sister to the immortal Storm Bird.
Into Mischief, a top-10 sire of 2017, will be represented in next weekend’s Breeders’ Cup in the Sprint (G1) by his Grade 1-winning son Practical Joke.
