November 7, 2017
The opening day of the 2017 Keeneland November Sale yielded excellent results for Into Mischief, who had a pair of colts go through the ring for $320,000 during Tuesday’s session.
Kicking of the day was hip No. 74, consigned by Walnut Green, agent, with Brookstone Farm the winning bidder. The bay colt is out of Katherine’skadence, who is a sister to a total of five stakes horses, including three black type winners. His second dam Won’t She Tell is a half-sister to Affirmed.
Later in the day hip No. 157, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, went to D. M. I. The gray colt’s deep female family Grade 1 winners La Gueriere and Al Mamoon, as well as millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner Master Command.
Into Mischief was the most popular sire in North America in 2017 with a book of 235 mares. He is full again in 2018. His Grade 1-winning son Practical Joke will be joining the stallion ranks next year.
