Flat Out filly debuts a winner at Gulfstream Park
October 8, 2017
Freshman sire Flat Out, already the sire of three stakes horses, got the ninth winner from his first crop on Sunday afternoon when My Niece Luanne easily won a six-furlong maiden race at Gulfstream West.
The dark bay filly, owned by Frank Calabrese and trained by Angel Rodriguez, was a 3 1/2-length winner over the main track.
My Niece Luanne is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Indian Bluff, who is a sister to 11 winners and three stakes horses.
Flat Out’s first crop of winners includes Sorority S. winner Pacific Gale, and the stakes-placed duo of Flat Lucky and Flat Out Gittin It.
