Can the Man filly sparkles in debut

Sugar Bolt rolled her way to a 7 1/4-length maiden special weight win in her Oct. 5 debut at Indiana Downs to become the eighth overall winner for Can the Man, which ranks fourth on the 2018 Freshman Sire list.

Sugar Bolt asserted herself right from the start of Friday’s five-furlong turf affair and widened her margin the entire trip in a visually impressive performance.

The winner is owned by Heritage Hills Racing and was bred by Loren Nichols. Her stakes-placed dam is a sister to multiple stakes winner Carbella.
